The fact that even refillable bottles now have more-or-less un-removeable labels. They’re made of plastic, these days, and apparently attached to the bottle with whatever they use to fix the heat resistant panels onto space shuttles these days. German bottles, of course, have paper labels stuck on with flour paste, which slip off at the merest sprinkling of water.
