Recently, during Ohio Brew Week, I shared a book signing event with beer and food writer Lucy Saunders. She let me know about an event she is organizing to help brewers learn better water conservation practices.
There will be presentations from brewers and water experts, including Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce Dick Leinenkugel will present a keynote and discuss his efforts with the M-7 Water Council to make Milwaukee the freshwaster hub of the world.

Hi, Chris – Thanks for the note – not that many people outside the midwest know that Wisconsin – especially northern Wisconsin – is in the midst of severe drought. Craft brewers will learn about practical systems for water savings from experts such as Sierra Nevada Brewing’s Fred Strachan and Bridgeport Brewing’s Jeff Edgerton. There will also be poster sessions along with a reception to meet conservationists from Waterkeepers, Gathering Waters, etc. Hope you’ll be able to come – if you’re not in Seoul South Korea
cheers, Lucy
I found a cool beer comparison tool at HappyBreath.Net. It lets you compare from a database of over 200 beers. It knows the alcohol content for all and the calorie content for most. It compares two beers and tells which has fewer calories per alcohol and which has a better price per alcohol. You can even add unlisted beers to compare!
Keep up the great piece of work, I read few content on this internet site and I conceive that your site is rattling interesting and has got sets of good info .
